Among the most beautiful islands of the Ionian Sea, yoga and pranayama on board

Sailing Ulysses’s sea means slowing down, following the wind, and letting the journey take shape day by day.
It’s a sailing experience that unites sea, islands, nature, and shared time, far from the rhythms of organized vacations.

Here the sea is not a backdrop, but the space in which one lives.

Why “In the Sea of Ulysses”

This journey draws inspiration from the ancient Mediterranean and the Aegean and Ionian routes, where navigation was about discovery, anticipation, and return.
It’s not about collecting stops, but about traveling through places with respect, listening to the sea and the rhythm of the group.

Ulysses was not looking for a shortcut: he was looking for the meaning of the journey.

The islands and the route

The cruise takes place between Lefkada, Meganisi, Kalamos, Kastos, Ithaca, and Kefalonia, with possible variations depending on weather conditions and departure point.
Sheltered bays, small ports, transparent waters, and unspoiled islands characterize this part of the Ionian Sea.

The route is not rigid: the wind, the sea and the atmosphere of the moment guide the daily choices.

Life on board

The boat is home, a means of travel, and a place of sharing.
The days pass between sailing, stops at anchor, swimming, moments of relaxation, and simple daily activities shared together.

Everyone participates in life on board according to their own desires, without obligation.
The skipper leads the way and accompanies the group, fostering an informal, collaborative, and respectful atmosphere.

Time expands, the pace slows.

The program, day by day

(indicative and adaptable to the weather and the pace of the group)

Friday – Embarkation
Embarkation in the late afternoon in Lefkada, or alternatively in Sami or Agia Eufemia (Kefalonia). Set sail, initial briefing, and first dinner together. The night is spent in port.

Saturday – First sails
We set sail and get into the rhythm of Ionian navigation. Heading for Skorpios and Meganisi, among quiet bays and crystal-clear waters. First stops for swimming and an evening at anchor or in a small port.

Sunday – Kalamos and Kastos
Sailing towards Kalamos and Kastos, small and rarely visited islands. The day alternates sailing, stops in bays, and time at sea. In the evening, we choose the landing place based on the conditions and the local atmosphere.

Monday – Atokos and Ithaca
Heading for Atokos, with a stop in one of its wild bays, ideal for a dip in the clear waters. In the afternoon, we continue toward Ithaca, the island that symbolizes this journey, where we drop anchor for the night.

Tuesday – Ithaca
A day dedicated to Ithaca: coastal sailing, swimming, and the opportunity to visit Kioni and Vathy, with its marinas, promenades, and taverns. An island to be experienced at your leisure.

Wednesday – Towards Kefalonia
We leave Ithaca and sail toward Kefalonia, arriving in Sami or Agia Eufemia. Weather permitting, we can take a stroll to the Acropolis of Sami, surrounded by greenery. A peaceful evening.

Thursday – Polis Bay and return
Sail toward Polis Bay, north of Ithaca, for a final swim in a picturesque bay. Those who wish can climb up to Stavros, a village near the ruins of Odysseus’ castle, amidst history and sea views. In the afternoon, we resume sailing toward the return port.

Friday – Aphales Ithaca
Breakfast on board and we’ll continue towards Aphales, a bay with an enchanting beach, sea permitting. In the afternoon, we’ll set sail again towards the return port. Breakfast on board and disembarkation in the morning at the arrival port.

Saturday – Disembarkation in Lefkada
Breakfast on board and disembarkation by 9:00 am at the arrival port.

Activities and special moments

During the week, weather permitting, shore excursions, walks, and light trekking to explore the islands are available.

On July and August tours, you can also participate in optional yoga, meditation, and pranayama sessions, led by an onboard instructor.
A complementary experience to the cruise, for those seeking listening, balance, and presence.
